We offer quality full board with a quiet adult atmoshere and where even show horses can enjoy being horses. The 12 x 12 stall will be cleaned and maintained daily with fresh water, hay and bedding replaced as needed. All boarded horses enjoy the company of other horses during turnout, unless individual turnout is required by special request*. Horses are turned out daily for two to twelve hours, depending on weather & their needs or owner requests. All horses are treated with the same love and care that we give our own. Proof of a negative Coggins test dated within 10 months is required before the horse arrives on the farm. We also require that the horse be up-to-date on all recommended vaccines and/or boosters.
We use a special 10% sweet feed blend purchased directly from the feed mill to unsure quality & freshness. Also, in using this feed we have eliminated the need for costly suppliments as the necessary vitamins & minerals are already in the feed. From the same source we purchase top quality Timothy hay that is fed twice a day.
Full board starts at $350.00 per month. This starting price includes up to 8 quarts of sweet feed per day, fed in two feedings of 4 quarts each & up to 4 flakes of hay a day also fed in two feedings.
*Special requests for our boarders are welcomed at added cost.
**Due to some newly learned information and experience, only training aids that are sold in Dover, State Line Tack or Schneiders will be accepted. ABUSE WILL NOT BE TOLERATED! NO FIREWORKS, SMOKEBOMBS, OR ANYTHING THAT CAN HARM AN ANIMAL OR HUMAN!
Overnight Board
We offer overnight boarding for those that are traveling through or want to stay a few days. Having made long hauls ourselves we understand the need to let our horses out and have down time. Stalls are usually available, but sometimes we do become booked so please call ahead for availability. Turnout is always available in our large paddock.
RVs and living quarter trailers are welcome. We hope to have a small apartment available for the human travlers so that you may just stretch out here. Until then, we are located about 10 minutes from town which has a hotel with 24 hour resturant, grochery store, food store, several gas stations (with truck stops for the larger vehicles) and antique stores. Also, there is a four season resort about 10 minutes west of us.
